1 Cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. paprika
1 12 oz. can or bottle of beer
1/4 tsp. hot sauce
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
vegetable oil

In a bowl combine 1cup flour, baking powder, salt, and paprika. Whisk in beer, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and lemon juice. Cover and let stand at room temperature for at least 1 hour. In a large heavy pot or deep fryer, heat about 3 inches of oil over medium - high heat to 375º. Dip the shrimp in the batter and fry for approximately 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Drain shrimp on paper towels.
