Cry Baby Cookies Recipe

1 c.+2 tbsp shortening
1c. +2 tbsp sugar
1 c. molasses
2 eggs, well beaten
4 3/4 c. flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1 t. salt
1 1/2 t. baking soda
2 c. shredded coconut
2 c. walnuts
1 1/3 c, raisins
1 c. milk

Cream shortening; add sugar, molasses, and eggs. Blend together flour, baking powder, salt and soda; combine with coconut, walnuts and raisins. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk to creamed mixture.
Drop by tablespoons on baking sheet. Bake at 375 for 10 minutes.
