1 Slab of round steak (works with venison, too)
1/4 cup coarsely chopped onion
1/2 cup green pepper, diced
1 stick of butter or margarine
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup flour
Salt and pepper, to taste
Garlic salt
Egg noodles, wide
3/4 cup sour cream.

Coarsely chop onion and green pepper. Brown with the stick of butter. Cut steak into narrow strips. Combine salt, pepper and flour in a bowl.
Roll steak strips thoroughly in the flour. Brown the steak in the onion & pepper mixture. Sprinkle with garlic salt. Add 1/2 cup water when completely browned and stir thoroughly. Add soup and simmer for about an hour until meat is done. Add sour cream just before serving and heat thoroughly.
Serve over cooked noodles.
