"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
This recipe for Sandy's Salsa, by Sandy Evans, is from Harper Family Traditions,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
Juice of one lime 5 tomatoes chopped 1 onion chopped 2 tsp vinegar 1 tsp cumin 4 fresh jalapeņos 3 Tbsp chili powder 1/4 cup chopped cilantro dash of garlic salt
After mixing together chill and serve with chips. Its really easy to make and is much tastier than store bought! When everyone raves over it you can say, "Oh, it's just a little something I threw together!"
