6 large onions, sliced (or cut up in big chunks)
3 T. margarine or butter
2 beef bouillon cubes dissolved in 1 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. worchestershire sauce
3 cans beef broth
1 can beef consume'
1/2 tsp salt (optional)
1/8 tsp. pepper
Toasted French bread, Swiss or mozzarella cheese slices

Saute onions in margarine until tender (make sure they are tender) Add remaining ingredients except bread and cheese. Put soup in bowls; add bread slice topped with cheese. Heat in oven or microwave until cheese melts.
