1 lb. ground beef
1 large can pork & beans
1/2 yellow onion
1 green pepper
1 can mushroom stems & pieces
1 soup sized can of tomato sauce
chili powder to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Chop onions and green pepper. Heat skillet and fry hamburger adding the onion and green pepper, salt & pepper as the meat is browning. Let the meat get fully cooked, so it is browned not gray or steamed. Add the pork & beans, mushrooms and tomato sauce to the meat and season with the chili powder. Let simmer, covered for about 20 minutes. This is also very good mixed ahead and left in the refrigerator, covered for a day ahead and then put in a slow cooker for the next day.
