4 c. warm water 4 T. yeast 4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. sugar 1/4 salad oil 10 c. flour (half wheat and half white)
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Mix in all ingredients. Stir until soft, not sticky, cut into 3 parts. Let stand 14 minutes. Using handle or rolling pin, pound each part 1 minute, folding over as needed. Form into loaves and put into greased pans. Let stand 30 minutes. Bake at 400º for 30 minutes.
