1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. chunky or smooth peanut butter
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 egg
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
preheat oven to 375º Cream the butter, peanut butter and sugars until light. Add the egg and mix until fluffy. Blend the flour, baking powder, soda and salt together. Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture. Add the chocolate chips. Drop the cookie dough by teaspoons full onto lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
