2 c milk
4 T butter
2 t salt
1/2 c molasses
1 c cold water
1 c lukewarm water
2 T. dry yeast
2 lg. eggs
1/3 c wheat germ
9-11 c whole wheat flour

Scald milk, then add butter, salt & molases. When butter is melted, add cold water. Sprinkle yeast into warm water, when dissolved & milk is luke warm, mix together.
Add 4 c of flour & wheat germ - beat well. When mixture is smooth, beat in eggs one at a time. Then stir in enough flour to make fairly stiff dough, knead.
Put in greased bowl, cover, let rise til gouble. Punch down, knead for 1 min., then divide into 2-4 loaves and put in pans. Cover & let rise to double.
Bake at 400, 35-40 min.
