1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 lb. sausage
1/4 cup onion, chopped finely
2 Tsp. salt
1/4 Tsp. pepper
1/4 Tsp. dry mustard
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire
4 slices soft bread, cubed
1/2 cup milk
2 eggs
bacon, slices

SAUCE:
3 Tbsp brown sugar
1/4 Tsp nutmeg
1 Tsp dry mustard
1/4 cup ketchup

Directions:

Mix the meats well. Stir in next 7 ingredients...

Soak break in milk. Add eggs. Beat with mixer.

Combine meat and egg mixture. Form two loaves. Place in greased, shallow baking dish. Pour 1/2 cup water around loaves for baking...Score the tops and lay bacon across for the first half hour.

After 30 minutes, remove bacon and add sauce into score marks on top of loaves.
