1 1/2 cups Tomatoes, stewed or canned(I have used 1-8oz can tomato sauce and 1 cup tomato juice)
1/4 cup Onion, finely chopped
Parsley, dried
1 Tsp sugar
Bay Leaf, small piece
3 cloves, whole
2 Tbsp butter or bacon fat
2 Tbsp flour

Directions:
Directions:
Combine tomatoes with onion, parsley, sugar and seasonings. Bring to a boil...reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. Pick out whole cloves and bay leaf from mixture.

Melt butter or bacon fat over low heat...Add flour and stir until well blended. Slowly add hot tomato mixture. Cook, stirring constantly, until thick and smooth.
