Rib Roast, any size
salt and pepper

Directions:
At noon, preheat oven to 375º...Put roast in broiler pan and season with the salt and pepper. Put roast, uncovered, in oven and cook for 1 hour. Turn off oven and DO NOT OPEN DOOR!!!

45 minutes before serving, turn oven back on to 375º and cook. Roast should be medium rare in center and well done on edges. Adjust the cooking times to suit youir particular tastes.

Ask grocer for a 1st cut, 2 rib, standing rib roast for two people..

If having company, cook roast in early morning before you leave for work. Leave roast in oven all day and finish when you get home...

REMEMBER...do not open door...even to sneak a peek!

Many Sunday mornings this was cooked for the first hour before we left for church. It was not unusual for us to have 15-20 family members in for lunch and this was a favorite!
