3 cups granulated sugar
3 cups cake flour
2 sticks butter
6 large eggs
½ pint whipping cream

Directions:
Directions:
Start with room temperature ingredients. Grease and flour a bundt pan. Set aside.

Beat the sugar and butter until its light colored and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. With the mixer set on medium speed, alternate additions of flour and cream, starting and ending with flour.

Pour the cake into prepared pan and place in cold oven. Set oven temperature at 325° and bake the cake for 1 hour or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Let it cool for about 10 minutes in the pan, then turn it out on a rack. It should drop out of pan. Sprinkle with powdered sugar when cool.
