1 c. sugar
1 c. canned pumpkin
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375. Mix sugar, pumpkin and shortening. Stir in flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Drop by teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes. Top with light brown glaze.

Light Brown Glaze:

1/4 c. butter
2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1-2 Tbsp. milk

Heat butter in saucepan over medium heat until delicate brown. Stir in powdered sugar and vanilla. Stir in milk until smooth. Top cookies and enjoy.
