1/4 cup finely chopped onion 2 tbsp. butter or margarine 1 can tomato soup 1/2 cup water 2 cups shredded mild process cheese 3 cups cooked macaroni 2 tbsp. buttered bread crumbs
In pan cook onion in butter until tender. Stir in soup, water, 1 1/2 cups cheese. Heat until cheese melts. In 1 1/2 qt. casserole , mix sauce, macaroni. Top with crumbs, and remaining cheese. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes.
