1/4 cup butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup sour cream
1 tbsp. chopped onions
2 cans French cut green beans, drained
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1/2 cup corn flakes crumbs
2 tbsp. melted butter

Melt 1/4 cup butter in a 2 qt. saucepan. Add flour salt and pepper, then bring to a boil. Cook gently over medium heat for 1 minute. Remove from heat and add milk. Return to heat and cook 1 minute. Remove from heat and add sour cream and onions. Mix well. Gently fold green beans, coating well with sour cream mixture. Place in a 1 1/2 to 2 qt. casserole sprinkle with cheddar cheese. Mix the 2 tbsp. of melted butter with corn flakes and sprinkle this on top of cheese. Bake for 30 minutes at 350.
