Ingredients: |
Ingredients: 2 cans whole water chestnuts (cut in half) 1 lb. bacon (cut into thirds) 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. white sugar 3/4 c. bbq sauce (I prefer Sweet Baby Rays)

|
Directions: |
Directions:Wrap chestnut in bacon and stick with a toothpick.
Put a rack on the cookie sheet so chestnuts are not sitting in grease and bake at 350º for 25 minutes.
You may have to cook longer depending on how crunchy you like your bacon.
While bacon wrapped chestnuts are cooking mix brown sugar, white sugar and bbq sauce and heat in a pan.
When melted pour over the bacon wrapped chestnuts and let marinade for 2-3 hours or overnight.
To serve put in oven at 400º for 15 minutes. |
