32 caramels
1 cup flour
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup melted butter
5 tbsp cream or evaporated milk
1 cup oatmeal
1/2 tsp. soda

Directions:
Directions:
Melt the caramels and 5 T. cream in a double boiler. Meanwhile, combine flour,oatmeal, brown sugar,soda and butter. Press 1/2 of this mixture in 9x13 pan. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove form oven and sprinkle 1 cup chocolate chips,1/2cup nuts on top. Cover with caramel mix. Add remaining crumbs. Bake 12 to 15 minutes. Cut while warm.
