3 c. flour
1 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. cornmeal
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
11 tbsp. shortening
3 c. boiling water (maybe a little more)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flours, cornmeal, salt and sugar well. Put shortening into boiling water and boil a little; pour over flour mixture and stir and cool. Make into about 15 balls. Roll paper thin. Use lefse rolling pin. Bake at 350º until crisp, about 5-6 min.
