2 c. brown sugar (or 1/2 white)
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. peanuts
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. oatmeal
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla.
Add flour, salt and soda. Add oatmeal and then peanuts. Bake at 350.
