1 1/4 cup self-rising meal
1/4 cup self-rising flour
1 Tbsp. dry milk-use dry
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Add water to above dry ingredients until of right consistency. Pour into a generously greased and floured bread pan.
Bake at 425º until brown...maybe 20 minutes.

Do not heat up the pan, as some "modern day" recipes say; use a cold pan & GENEROUSLY grease & flour. Really, to get the best taste, you should use a beat-up 50+ year-old black pan. --MHO
