4 cups hot mashed sweet potatoes
1/2 cup butter
2 Tbs. granulated sugar
2 eggs -- beaten
1/4 cup milk
(1/2 tsp. vanilla – optional)
1 cup pecans -- chopped
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the sweet potatoes, 1/2 cup butter and the granulated sugar. Beat in the eggs and milk. Pour into a lightly greased 13x9 inch or two 9 inch square pans.

Combine the brown sugar and flour. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Add chopped pecans and stir well. Sprinkle the mixture over the sweet potatoes. At this point mixture can be refrigerated, covered.

Bake uncovered at 350° F for 45 to 50 minutes until browned and bubbly.
