1 C. Flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt 5 T. margarine, melted
1 C. brown sugar
1 egg
1 T. hot water
1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/2 C. chopped nuts
6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips

Directions:

1. Combine melted margarine and brown sugar.
2. Add eggs, hot water, and vanilla to margarine and brown sugar.
3. Add dry ingredients which have been sifted together, stir well. Add nuts if desired and pour or spread dough into a 12" round pizza pan which has been well greased.
4. Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
5. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Do not over bake or pizza cookie will be hard and crisp.
6. Cover with plastic wrap when cool.
