1/4 c. shortening (soft)
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. milk
1 c. fresh blueberries (3/4 cup if canned berries)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening and flour mixture together with fork or pastry blender. Add remaining ingredients and stir just until blended, Bake 20-25 minutes at 400. Yields about 12 medium sized muffins.
