2 lbs. lean stew meat
8 carrots
2 C celery
1 C stewed tomatoes
Garlic to taste
1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
3 Tbsp. dry tapioca
1/3 C sherry or dry red wine
Marjoram, thyme, rosemary, salt, pepper to taste

Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a large Dutch oven or casserole. Cover and bake at 250 degrees for 4-5 hours. Stir occasionally. Serve over baked or mashed potatoes, noodles or rice. This recipe was originally from Thelma Gallagher.
