Layered Salad Recipe

1 head lettuce
1/2 C sliced green onions
1 C sliced celery
1 C sliced carrots
1 C sliced mushrooms
1 can water chestnuts
Hard boiled eggs
1 lb. bacon cooked and crumbled
1 10 oz. package. frozen peas
1 C mayonnaise
1 C sour cream
1/2 C Parmesan cheese
Garlic powder
Salt and pepper

In a large glass dish, layer chopped lettuce, peas, onions, celery, carrots, mushrooms, water chestnuts and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Mix together mayonnaise, sour cream and Parmesan cheese, then pour over salad covering well. Chill overnight. When ready to serve, put crumbled bacon on top then garnish with sliced hard-boiled eggs and tomato wedges.
