11/2 lb round steak
1 c flour
1 small onion
2-3 cloves minced garlic
2 c water
1/2 tsp basil, parsley leaves, and celery leaves
oil or shortening
salt and pepper
1/2 chopped green bell pepper
2-8oz cans tomatoe sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Tenderize meat if not already done. Salt and pepper to taste. Press flour into serving size pieces of steak and brown on both sides in hot oil or shortening. Remove from skillet and saute onions, garlic, and peppers. Add steak back to skillet and add the tomatoe sauce and water and mix. Cover and let cook about 1 Hour. Add basil, parsley and celery and stir. Cover and cook 15 minutes.
