2 ½ C SUGAR ½ C WATER ½ C CORN SRYUP 2 EGG WHITES NUTS
COOK SUGAR, WATER AND SYRUP UNTIL IT SPINS A THREAD. BEAT 2 EGG WHITES STIFF AND ADD HALF SUGAR MIXTURE. COOK REMAINING HALF UNTIL IT HARDENS IN COLD WATER. POUR INTO FIRST MIXTURE. BEAT UNTIL CREAMY. ADD NUTS. POUR INTO PAN OR DROP FROM TEASPOON. MAY ADD FOOD COLORING IF DESIRED. PUT A LID ON PAN A FEW MINUTES TO KEEP CRYSTALS OFF SIDE. DO NOT SCRAPE OFF.
