1 c. diced onion
1 c. sliced celery
1 can 16 oz. tomatoes
1 can 15 oz. tomato sauce
1 c. beef broth soup
1 tbsp. salt (more for taste)
1/2 tsp. sweek basil
2 c. shredded cabbage
1/2 c. small macaroni
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. sliced carrots
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 c. water
1 tbsp. parsley
1.2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. frozen green beans

Brown and drain meat. Add all other ingredients except, cabbage, macaroni and green beans to a boil. Lower heat and cover, simmering 20 mins. Add cabbage, macaroni and beans and simmer until vetetables are tender.

I use this as a base for my soup, then add any thing else I want. I also use beef stew meat.
