Mix First
2/3 cups shortening
2 2/3 cups sugar

Next Mix
4 eggs
16 oz. can pumpkin
2/3 cups water
3 1/3 cups flour
2 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
2/3 cups raisins
2/3 cups nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Combine shortening and sugar. In another bowl, combine flour and spices. Add water, pumpkin, and eggs, one at a time to flour and spices mixture. Combine with sugar/shortening mixture using mixer. Pour into two 9"x5"x3" loaf pans. Bake at 350º about 70 minutes.
