1 package of dried onion soup mix
3 medium onions, thinly sliced
2 celery ribs, chopped
1 cup bottled chili sauce
1 bottle of Lager beer
1/2 cup of H2O
1-4 to 5 lb. pc. of brisket
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Preheat to 350º. Combine ingredients in a large dutch oven with a cover on a covered casserole. Put the meat in, spoon sauce over the top. Cover and bake in the center of the oven for 2 1/2 hours, checking to see if fork tender, if not, cook it some more! Ideally, you should refrigerate the cooked meat and sauce overnight. Remove the fat that floats to the top, reheat, slice the meat in the sauce, serve in the sauce.
