White Cake mix (enough for 2 layers)

18 oz. fresh coconut
8 oz sour cream
1 lb box powdered sugar

Directions:

MIx cocnut, sour cream and powdered sugar. Refrigerate.

The following day, bake the white cake mix according to directions, to make a 2 layer cake.When cool, split each layer in half.

Use filling to spread between layers and on sides.

Refrigerate in a tight fitting container.

Mom Pat made this several days ahead of serving...A few days of sitting in refrigerator enhances the flavors. Sometimes, she would punch holes inthe cake for the syrup to run through.
