2 c. flour
1-3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. butter, cut into small pieces
1 c. water
1/3 c. unsweetened cocoa
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla

Frosting:
3 egg yolks
1 c. evaporated milk, divided
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, cut into small pieces
1-1/3 c. flaked, sweetened coconut
1 c. chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
In small saucepan, combine butter, water and cocoa and cook over medium heat until butter melts and mixture comes to a simmer. Add cocoa mixture, eggs and buttermilk and vanilla to the flour, sugar, soda and salt. Stir and pour into 13x9x2" sprayed pan and bake 30 minutes.

To prepare frosting, whisk egg yolks and about 1/3 c. milk in saucepan. Add remaining milk, vanilla & sugar. Add butter, cook over medium heat, stirring til it comes to full boil. Reduce heat to maintain boil and cook, stirring frequently, 7 minutes of until thick. Remove from heat and stir in coconut and pecans. Cool, stirring occasionally, until thick enough to spread.
