2 cps. sifted flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cp soft margarine
1/2 cp buttermilk
1 1/2 cp milk with 1/2 tsp vinager
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/3 cp sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1 cp mashed ripe bananas
2 eggs, well beaten
2 - 3 tbsp poppy seeds

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and sugar into mixing bowl. Add margarine, 1/4 cp buttermilk and mashed bananas. Mix until flour is dampened, then beat 2 minutes longer with mixer at low speed. Add eggs, remaining 1/4 cp of buttermilk and vanilla. Beat 1 minute with mixer at low speed. Stir in poppy seeds.

Bake in a 8 x 13 pan (grease bottom). 350º for 35-40 minutes.
