Have a 1 - inch thick piece of top round sliced very thin (1/4 to 1/2 inch thick), and marinate in the following mixture:
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup cooking oil
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 cup fresh orange juice
1 teaspoon grated fresh gingerroot (or ground ginger if you can't get the fresh), and 1 pressed garlic clove.

Let the meat strips remain in this for 1 hour, and then weave them back and forth on bamboo or metal skewers. Grill them very quickly over a fairly hot fire, about 30 seconds on a side. Let each guest cook his own.
