2 1/4 c. flour
4 t. baking powder
1/2 stick melted oleo
1/4 t. salt
2 T. sugar
1/4 c. milk
3 heaping T. Crisco
1 egg
3/4 lb. brown sugar
cinnamon to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Work in Crisco using fingers. Beat egg and add the milk. Mix together dry and wet ingredients until soft dough is formed. Roll out 1/4 " thickness on floured board. Spread dough with melted oleo. Sprinkle generously with brown sugar. Bake for 50-60 minutes. Baste with butter several times during baking.
