1 16 oz. package of fresh mushrooms
1 8 oz package of cream cheese, softened
1/2 pound bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 small onion, finely chopped
paprika (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Clean mushrooms. Remove stems. In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese and onion until soft. Add bacon and stir to mix. Fill the center of each mushroom cap with a well-rounded teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture. Place mushrooms on a large baking sheet. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use. Sprinkle tops of mushrooms with paprika, if desired. Place baking sheet in broiler and broil for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown. Be sure to check these several times during broiling because mushrooms are delicate and can burn easily. Remove mushrooms to a serving plate and enjoy.
