1 c soft margarine
1/2 c peanut butter (chucky)
1 c firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 c honey
2 c whole wheat flour
2 c regular or quick rolled oats
1 c unsweetened wheat germ
1 c each shredded coconut, raisin's and chopped nuts

Directions:

Bake 375º

1. Cream margarine, peanut butter, brown sugar and eggs.
2.Add honey, flour and oats
3. Blend in wheat germ, coconut, raisins and chopped nuts
4. Spoon on cookie sheet. Bake about 10 minutes or until firm to touch. Do not over bake.

This recipe comes from a friend I have had for over twenty years. She got it from her Jewish grandmother. This cookie freezes well and is great as a breakfast cookie on the run. I like to eat it frozen also.
