1 Dark Chocolate cake mix
13/4 cups flour
1/2 cup of water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs beaten
1 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground nutmeg
1 bag of chocolate chips
Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients by hand. Roll into small balls.
Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 10-15 minutes in a 350º oven.

Makes approx. 8 dozen

The original Italian recipe had many, many more ingredients. This has been shorten by using the cake mix. It still has that delicious taste of all the spices, but certainly shortens the preparation time.
