2 T. bacon drippings or cooking oil
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
3 T. vinegar
1 c. water
1/4 t. salt, dash of pepper
4 c. shredded red cabbage

Directions:
Directions:
In a large skillet, combine drippings or oil, brown sugar, vinegar, water, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until hot, stirring occasionally. Add cabbage; cover and cook for 10 minutes over medium-low heat. Lower heat, and cook another 10 minutes.
