"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
This recipe for Cherry Cheese Bread, by Heather Fandel, is from The Shumway Family Cookbook,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
1 loaf frozen bread dough 1/2 jar of marshmallow cream 6 oz of cream cheese 1 can of cherry pie filling 1/4 tsp of lemon juice
Let bread thaw until it is workable. Roll out into long rectangle. Mix cream cheese and Marshmallow cream together, add lemon juice. Spread on bread. Add cherry pie filling on top and spread on bread. Using a knife, on the either side of the dough cut 2 in slits all the way down. Take slits and cross them over to the opposite side.
