2 3/4 C. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 stick butter, softened
1/2 C. buttermilk
1 C. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
In small bowl mix flour, baking powder, soda, and salt. In large bowl cream butter and sugar. Mix in buttermilk, egg, and extracts. On low speed add flour mixture. Divide dough into two pieces and wrap in plastic wrap. Chill in fridge for an hour. Preheat oven to 350. Take part of dough and roll out on lightly floured parchment paper. Cut shapes with lightly floured cookie cutters. Bake for 6-7 minutes on parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Cool before frosting.
