3 c. milk 2 eggs 1/2 c. sugar 1 T. flour 1 tsp. vanilla dash salt
Scald milk. Beat eggs until light. Combine sugar, flour and salt and add to eggs. Add small amount of hot milk to eggs. Pour mixture into hot milk and cook gently till mix coats a spoon. Cool and serve with whipped cream or a dash of nutmeg.
