1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt (ground sea salt or grey's salt)
2/3 cup milk at room temperature
2/3 cup of water at room temperature
3 large eggs
4 tbsp. roast beef pan drippings
Double recipe if needed

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl combine flour and salt. With a handheld mixer, add the milk slowly, and mix until smooth. Add water and eggs and beat until combined well and bubbly. Let stand, covered, at room temperature, half an hour. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Divide drippings among eight muffin pan cups. Beat batter again until bubbly, then pour into muffin cups over the drippings. Bake 10 minutes in lower rack of oven, don't peek, reduce oven temp to 350 degrees and bake another 10 minutes until they puff and are golden brown. Serve right away.
