2 chickens cut into portions or 8-10 chicken breasts, skinned and deboned
1 small onion, finely grated
4 scallions, chopped
c. vegetable oil
chicken bouillon cube, crushed
c. balsamic vinegar
1 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. freshly ground pepper
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. dry mustard
6 tbsp. ketchup
2-3 cloves garlic, grated/crushed
few drops Tabasco

Combine all ingredients, except chicken. Marinate chicken in half the sauce for a few hours or overnight. Put remaining half of marinade aside Remove from marinade (discard this remaining marinade) and place chicken on a foil lined pan and broil on middle rack of oven on both sides until nicely browned approx. 25 minutes per side. Heat marinade that has been reserved and pour over chicken.
