1 pineapple
1/3 c. melted butter
4 tbsp. light brown sugar
3 tbsp. dark rum
½ tsp. ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
¼ tsp. ground nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
1. Heat natural gas barbecue to medium.

2. Cut Pineapple through top and core into quarters. Cut pineapple into ½ inch slices, cutting to, but not through the shell. ( you can leave the pineapple top on, or remove it, depending on your preference.)

3. In a small saucepan, melt butter. Stir in brown sugar, rum, cinnamon, and cloves.

4. Wrap pineapple tops in heavy-duty foil (if leaving on). Place pineapple quarters shell side down on barbecue grill.

5. Cook until pineapple is heated though, about 15 minutes, basting with butter-rum mixture.

6. Just before serving, remove foil from tops and sprinkle each with nutmeg.
