3 1/2 c. apples, chopped
1 c. butter, melted
2 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 c. walnuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cut apples and pour melted butter over apples. Add sugar and beaten eggs. Mix in the dry ingredients (sifted together) and nuts. Bake in 350º oven in a greased cookie sheet for 35 to 40 minutes. Frost with brown sugar or powdered sugar frosting. Pan size is 17x16", or half of this recipe goes in a 9x12".
