Cake:
2 eggs well beaten
2 C flour
1/2 C vegetable oil
2 tsp. baking soda
1 C sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
4 C apples coarsely chopped
1 C nuts

Topping:
1 C sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 C buttermilk
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1/2 stick margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cake ingredients in order listed above. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour. Combine all topping ingredients in saucepan. Bring to a rolling boil, then pour over cake.
