Banana Bread Recipe

1/2 c. shortening (or margarine)
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 lg ripe bananas
4 Tbsp milk
1/2 t vinegar
2 c. flour
1/2 t. soda
1 t. baking powder
1/4 t. salt

1/2 c nuts(opt)

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and stir well. Add to egg mixture: Mashed bananas, milk, & vinegar. Mix together the dry ingredients and add to banana mixture and mix well. Add nuts if
desired. Pour into buttered loaf pan.
Bake 45-60 minutes at 375.
