1 egg, unbeaten 1/2 cup butter 1/2 cup lard 1 cup sugar 2 1/2 cups flour 1/2 tsp baking powder extract
Mix in the evening. Bake in the morning.
This recipe is very special since I have the original recipe in Olga's handwriting. The recipe includes no directions for mixing, oven temperature (she would have used a wood kitchen range) or how long to bake them.
